This new rectangular hermetically sealed series features a built in seal, which comes between the lens reflector and the housing. Also included is a double-wedged grommet, which protects the electrical components. The effect is a 100% waterproof design and total protection from the elements. Until now this technology was only available as original equipment on luxury cars. DELTA H.I.D. Systems have surpassed that technology by bringing a new generation of H.I.D. technology that surpasses those systems. The extreme power offered by DELTA systems is generated by converting 12V battery power to 35,000 volts and creating a continuous arcing process of XENON gas. This is the most energy efficient system which significantly outperforms halogen lighting yet consumes 30% less energy. The result is a soft, clear, almost bluish white light which is easy on your eyes because of its natural “daytime” like color.
